We’ve enjoyed a local presence in Monterey since the mid-1990’s. Thomas Kinkade Gallery of Monterey relocated and reopened on Cannery Row across from Monterey Plaza. We welcome back our longtime friends as well as making new friends and art collectors.
Our Monterey gallery holds special significance for Kinkade art collectors because this area inspired many pieces painted by Thom. In fact, he completed 23 paintings highlighting the Carmel and Monterey area that can be visited in real life on a Tour of Monterey. Some images, like Studio in the Garden, Carmel by the Sea, Dolores Street, Morning Glory Cottage, and Carmel, Ocean Avenue on a Rainy Afternoon are sold out in Limited Edition but are available in our gallery in Canvas Classics and Brushworks series.
In the 1990’s Thomas Kinkade would often set up his easel in Carmel and Monterey and start a masterpiece influenced by our beautiful region. He would attract the attention of on-lookers and really enjoyed it when visitors would take interest in his art. Thomas Kinkade’s Plein Air (outdoor) paintings were influenced by Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh and other impressionistic painters.
In addition to Thomas Kinkade art, we also feature many other talented Art Brand Studio artists. Come see Thom’s legacy continue through the eyes of his nephew Zac Kinkade.
