Boulevard Lights, Paris is not only the first release in Thom’s exciting new City Impressions series but also the first release of his new Studio Impressions collection. For Thom, this new collection is an expression of his passion for color and the way natural light affects the subject.

Renaissance Edition

The Renaissance Edition pieces each feature uniquely textured brushstroke processes and the work of a master highlighter. Those released prior to April 6, 2012, involve a unique process recreating the brushwork of the artist. A Master Highlighter finished each piece. A special Remarque is applied to the verso side of the canvas. The artist has then hand-signed the front of the canvas, and a foil-stamped silver Renaissance Edition seal has been applied to the back of the painting. Each Renaissance Edition is then designated by the letters R/E during the numbering process.

Renaissance Edition pieces released after April 6, 2012, are created with a textured brushstroke process. A Master Highlighter enhances the piece with additional highlights. A special Remarque is applied to the verso side of the canvas. Lastly, a foil-stamped silver Renaissance Edition seal is applied to the back of the canvas. The letters R/E designation is applied during the numbering process.
